Galveston College Regent Mary Longoria, Position 1, was sworn in during the June 12, 2024, regular meeting of the Galveston Community College District Board of Regents. GC Regents Karen F. The Galveston Community College District Board of Regents swore in Mary Longoria, Position 1, the third of three reelected board members during the June 12 regular meeting of the Board of Regents.

GC regents Fred D. Raschke, Position 2, and Karen F. Flowers, Position 3, took the oath of office during the regular meeting in May.

All three board members were unopposed in the May elections and will serve six-year terms through May 2030.
