Galveston College Testing Center

In order to ensure the integrity of the testing process at Galveston College, the following regulations will be strictly enforced by Testing Center personnel:

• Current valid photo ID required for all testing.
• Only authorized materials are permitted while testing.
• Cell phones, smart watches, Fitbits, and any other electronic devices are not permitted while testing.
• Remove coats, jackets, hats, hoods, scarves, and large jewelry.
• Food, drinks & gum are not allowed in the Testing Center.
• No unattended children allowed in the Testing Center or Library.
• No communication in the testing rooms.
• All materials for testing will be provided to examinees.
• All suspicious behavior will be reported and may result in the cancellation of your scores.
• Completed tests must be returned to the proctor. Test materials or scratch paper may not leave the Testing Center.
• No test will begin later than one hour before closing time.
• Proctors follow all regulations set by your exam provider or instructor and cannot make exceptions.

Inappropriate or suspicious behavior will result in administrative intervention, possible score cancellation, and/or disciplinary action.

The Testing Center provides support to the Galveston College community by accurately administering, reporting, and securing assessments used by both the college and community. Services are offered in a clean, fair, comfortable and safe environment. The Testing Center is dynamic and strives to accommodate evolving testing and assessment needs.

No exam will begin later than one hour prior to closing.

Monday – 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Tuesday – Wednesday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Thursday – 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Friday – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday  – 8 a.m. to noon

No exam will begin later than one hour prior to closing.

Monday – Thursday- 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Friday: Closed
