Galveston College students, faculty and staff, as well as community members, attended the Health & Wellness Fair presented by the GC Employee Wellness Committee and Student Activities on April 24, 2024, in the Seibel Wing.
The Health & Wellness Fair was free and open to the public for the community to attend.
At the fair, students, faculty, staff and community members had the opportunity to learn about about health and wellness resources available to them in the community, as well as get vaccinations and blood pressure checks.
Among the health and community organizations who participated in the event were the Alzheimer’s Association, Better Parks of Galveston, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Galveston’s Own Farmer’s Market, GISD Youth Health Center, Hospitality ER, MD Anderson, United Way, Walmart Pharmacy, and many others.
