TRiO Upward Bound participants visited Gator Country Adventure Park in Beaumont, Texas, on June 15, after a campus visit to Lamar University.
Gator Country provided educational enrichment for the students by teaching them the history of how the location was developed, why it was developed, the biology of and habitat requirements of American alligators, crocodiles and many different reptiles that were received through rescues, donations or other institutions.
