SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, AND MATH
Do you enjoy looking for patterns and solving puzzles? Are you curious about how the world works? Have you ever wondered about the size of the universe, or what lies in our oceans, or inside our cells?
The Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) pathway offers the opportunities to explore the connections of biology and technology, questions of space and time, and building competence in logic and critical thinking. Expand your mind and launch your explorations!
For many careers in this area, a four-year degree is required. The transfer curriculum in STEM is designed for students who plan to pursue bachelor's degrees at a four-year college or university after completing their studies at Galveston College. Upon successful completion of the prescribed courses, the student will be eligible to graduate from Galveston College with an Associate of Science degree.
